Technical Information for supplied artwork

Size: All artwork should be supplied to the correct size as above for your chosen advert space.
If the artwork is filling a full page it should contain 1.5mm on each edge, 3mm total on each side so that when the booklet is printed and trimmed a clean edge is produced. For example a full page should be 173mm x 243mm trimmed to 170mm x 240mm.

Colour: All artwork should be supplied in a full process colour CMYK format, with a total ink limit of 250%. Make sure that all colours are clean colours, so that black is only made up of 100% K not a mixture of all the colours.

Image resolution: All images should be supplied full size at 300dpi

Fonts & text: Even though we have a large font collection, please make sure that all fonts are outlined thus changing all fonts to shapes.

File formats: Please supply the original files from which the artwork was created from. This enables us to check the artwork thorough before printing. if this is not possible please supply the file as a PDF, eps, or TIFF. Jpeg, GIFFs and png's are not advisable as they as usually compressed and low quality. The artwork should preferably be created in either Adobe Indesign or Illustrator as these are vector graphic based programs and will produce better printing results rather than Adobe Photoshop.
